EXTRA Age Cutoffs for 2010-2011 Season
Saturday June 26th. Here is the schedule:
Boys U10 & Girls U10 8:30am to 10:00am
Boys U11 & Girls U11 10:00am to 11:30am
Boys U12 & Girls U12 11:30am to 1:00pm
Boys U13 & Girls U13 1:00pm to 2:30pm
Girls U14 2:30pm to 4:00pm

PLEASE NOTE:
1) Parents need to bring their child 30 minutes prior to their scheduled
evaluation time to sign-in and get a number.
2) You will need to bring your registration receipt, or will be required
to pay $15.00 and fill out a liability waiver form
Born between 8-1-1996 thru 7-31-1997 – tryout for U14
Born between 8-1-1997 thru 7-31-1998 – tryout for U13
Born between 8-1-1998 thru 7-31-1999 – tryout for U12
Born between 8-1-1999 thru 7-31-2000 – tryout for U11
Born between 8-1-2000 thru 7-31-2002 – tryout for U10
Extra is a new program under AYSO FLEX™ that is designed for players who have the interest, skills and abilities and want to enhance their experience and individual growth through soccer while retaining the spirit of and organization membership in AYSO. Extra is not designed to overshadow or harm the standard primary program – rather the goal is to strengthen AYSO by recruiting and retaining players and volunteers through providing more competitive play the AYSO way.

All AYSO FLEX™ programs embrace the Six Philosophies of AYSO:
• Everyone Plays - Our programs' goal is for kids to play soccer - so we mandate that every player on every team must play at least a half of every game.
• Balanced Teams - Each year we form new teams as evenly balanced as possible - because it is fair and more fun when teams of equal ability play. Extra requires regionally balanced division teams.
• Open Registration - Our program is open to all children…who want to register and play soccer. Interest and enthusiasm are the only criteria for playing. Extra requires that any registered player is eligible to apply for Extra. Players not selected are guaranteed placement on a team in the standard primary program.
• Positive Coaching - Encouragement of player effort provides for greater enjoyment by the players and ultimately leads to better-skilled and better-motivate players.
• Good Sportsmanship - We strive to create a positive based on mutual respect rather than a win-at-all-costs attitude, and our program is designed to instill good sportsmanship in all facets of AYSO. All players, parents, coaches and other AYSO volunteers in the Extra program are expected to adhere to a high standard of conduct and sportsmanship.
• Player Development - We believe that all players should be able to develop their soccer skills and knowledge to the best of their abilities, both individually and as members of a team, in order to maximize their enjoyment of the game.
