A Message from the Regional Referee Administrator

All youth soccer programs need referees and Region 47 is no different. Please consider becoming a referee and helping out the region and players.

Coaches are vital to player development. Referees are vital to fair play.

Marty Read

Referee Administrator AYSO Region 47

Becoming a Referee is Easy

If you can give us one day of your time, we can give you an excellent experience. The best way to watch the game of soccer is from the field and only referees and players get to see that.

No previous soccer experience is necessary. Everything you need to know will be taught in the class. You will also be assigned a mentor that will help you with your first games and help you develop into a confident referee.

Take a look at our class schedule and come out to a class. But be careful, most of us referees that have taken the class end up becoming referees for life, because we love it.
