Welcome to AYSO Region 47

WELCOME to Riverside AYSO (American Youth Soccer Organization) Region 47, (Section 1, Area R) located in Riverside, California. We are a youth recreational soccer league supporting nearly 3000 players in our Fall season and over 1500 players in the Spring. Please explore the links on the menu bar for more information about our program, or read below for current news.

***We have opened up one more night to register for fall soccer.  It is on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 from 6 – 8 p.m.***

 

We are setting the dates for all the upcoming season events.  Please check the website for updates and new information.  If you are trying to reach board members and are not getting responses, please click on the “Staff” page and verify that you have the correct contact information as board positions were changed May 2, 2009.

 

We are always looking for more Volunteers and there are great and exciting things happening in your Region.  Please contact us if you would like to be involved in helping our staff and making a difference with all the kids that participate in Region 47.

 Referee Classes have been scheduled, please check the referee webpage for dates and plan to attend.

Region 47 is planning on implementing the new AYSO FLEX extended play program.  AYSO FLEX is a new program that is designed for players who have the interest, skills and abilities and want to enhance their experience and individual growth through soccer while retaining the spirit of and organization membership in AYSO.  The goal is to strengthen AYSO by recruiting and retaining players and volunteers through providing more competitive play the AYSO way.

 

Coaches who are interested in coaching a FLEX team should contact Brad Crowder, Region 47 Regional Coach Trainer, by June 27, 2009 coachtrain@ayso47.org.

 

There will be player tryouts on July 8 and July 15, 2009 from 7:00pm to 8:00pm.  We expect to have teams in the following age groups:  U10, U11, U12, U13, U14.

Safe Haven

Safe HavenSafe Haven is a child and volunteer protection program that was the first of its kind in youth sports.

The child protection aspect is intended to stop child abuse, educate or remove its perpetrators, and screen out predators before they get into the program.
